As a Business Development Manager at ACA IT-Solutions:
- you are responsible for finding new customers for a given solution and/or customer segment.
- you are responsible to maintain excellent relations with existing customers and to maximize their return on investment. For these customers, you’re the point of contact for overlooking all activities between the customer and ACA.
- you are always looking for new opportunities in the market, and translate these opportunities into offerings from ACA.
- you get energy from trying out new things, understanding that failure is an option to learn and grow.
- you are part of the team to propose the solutions adapted to the customer’s business issues. You involve technical colleagues, and others when needed when developing the proposal for the customer.
- you take initiative to continuously improve and refine the sales process.
In short: a Business Development Manager takes ownership and responsibility for the sales process and account management from start to finish.
Do you have what it takes?
A Business Development Manager at ACA needs to have the following skills:
- Be able to listen.
- Be able to uncover customer business issues and map these to solutions which are unique and will deliver the best possible outcome for the customer.
- Excellent communication skills are crucial, as well internally, and also with partners/customers (Dutch, English are key, other languages are a plus).
- Great writing skills.
- Objection handling skills.
- Project management skills are a big plus!
- Have an eye for quality and innovation and will strive to find the perfect solution for the customer!
- Willing to go the extra mile to help your customers or prospects.
- Understand the IT Solution sales cycle.
- You are a true team player and you love working in a close (sales) team.
One more thing: you are passionate about everything surrounding IT & software, but that goes without saying!
