To facilitate the growth of our Collectiv pod (business unit), we are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager. Collectiv stands for the realization of customized software projects that take place in a unique Java software factory setting on our 3 locations in Hasselt, Olen and Ghent. What does your job entail?
As a Business Development Manager at ACA,
- you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining your own customer base. For these clients you are the contact point for all communication, solving their problems, contract management, … : with other words, you are their pillar of strength!
- you are always alert for new opportunities in the market. You are not afraid of taking new initiatives, even though this attitude will make you hit the wall once in a while.
- you live for searching the right solution for your clients or prospects! You always involve your technical colleagues in this process to develop a unique solution based on the needs of the client.
- you take the initiative to continuously improve and refine the sales process.
In summary: a Business Development Manager takes ownership and responsibility for the sales process from A to Z and communicates about it on several levels within an organization. Both at ours and the ones of our clients/prospects!
What do I need for this job?
A Business Development Manager within ACA should be able to recognize himself in the following statements:
- You have an eye for quality and innovation and you will continue until you have found the perfect solution for your client!
- You love to sink your teeth into a challenge and you are willing to go the extra mile to help your clients.
- You truly breath IT solution sales and quality. Because of this, you are the ideal person to work on a perfect solution together with our clients.
- You are a born team player and you love working in a close (sales) team.
- You have great writing skills, so the lay-out of bids and tenders will be no problem at all for you.
- Do you have experience with software project management and can you talk about Agile? That’s a big plus!
- One more thing: you are passionate about everything surrounding IT & software. But that goes without saying!
